I feel like I've heard this before but I can't remember where I remember hearing it. What other languages are there?

I'll set mine to German too. That way I can be like Bach. Ich will das Beste, wie niemand jemals war .... in deutscher Sprache.

There's French, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and other languages that I can't remember.

I should set it to korean just for kicks. I'll be so lost.

Teaching kids languages... Just one more thing Pokemon can do better than Frau!

Too bad that you can't change it freely though. I also like it because there are more languages in the US cart than just english and spanish so this could help with kids that grow up in a family where they only speak, say, Italian. It's nice that it's not going to alienate too many people. Is it a bad thing that the languages that these types of families have that came to mind were russian, spanish, japanese, chinese and korean? I think those are the most common ones, aren't they?

Yeah. Those are the most common. Also, French. And don't forget Portuguese and Vietnamese. And Hebrew. And Arabic. Basically, there are a shitton of languages that are spoken in the US. Spanish, Vietnamese, and Russian are the most commons ones, though.

I mostly see Russian, Spanish and asian languages in action here in Oregon. Either way X and Y's language settings are a really nice touch. I remembered Vietnamese after I sent my previous post whoops. I've heard it a couple times and it gives me a headache. It's a pretty harsh sounding language.

This might be because my grandparents speak it but fluent German is really soothing to listen to.
