New Pokemon stats finally! Empty New Pokemon stats finally!

Serebii finally got base stats/abilities of all the new Pokemon. Now we just need the move lists.
Aside from that, there are a lot of really cool new Pokemon that not just look cool but have new mechanics that make things especially interesting. There's Mega-evolutions, which we all know about, but the new Pokemon like Aegislash and Gourgeist which I think make things really interesting. Aegislash switches it's insanely high defensive stats with it's shit attack stats based on what moves it uses. Moves like Protect or Sword Dance would make defense stay defense, something like Cut or Hex would make it's defense and attack switch. Gourgeist has four different forms; small, regular, large, and super sized. Small has high speed and super sized has higher health and attack. Both are really interesting Pokemon and I look forward to seeing what all the new changes will contribute to the competitive side of Pokemon

Furfrou with Baby-Doll Eyes can survive a Close Combat from a Mega Heracross. Good to know.

Dear god, Mega Mewtwo. 194 special attack on Mega Mewtwo Y?! You can't even out-speed it with that 140 base speed...

Why did one of the series' strongest pokemon really need a mega evolution?

He's not that strong. Weaker than Mewtwo with Life Orb and slower than Mewtwo with Choice Scarf. Still, there's no way to counter him late-game if he's at full health and the opponent's team is weakened. Pretty good late-game sweeper, excellent for wrecking scrubs in random WiFi battles.

I just don't get the reason behind giving this stuff to Uber tier Pokemon in the first place. There are so many other Pokemon that could have used a mega evolution to not suck.

They gave it to Mewtwo because 1st gen is best gen, dawg.
The only Mega Evolution I have a real problem is Mega Kengaskhan. Seriously, that's fucking stupid. IT JUST HAS ITS BABY FIGHT WITH IT. HOW IS THAT AN EVOLUTION IN ANY WAY. THAT'S JUST A NATURAL, SEMI-DISTURBING PROGRESSION.
