Well don't shoot for 0 IVs in special defense for Avalugg, but you don't need to worry about that.

Sorry, that was a mistake. He has Leftovers. I had copied Kenstar's Template and was using that, forgot to switch the 6th Pokemon's Item.

I'm making a new team. I need help with an Espeon. All I have so far is Magic Bounce, Timid and 252 Speed EVs. I want it to be a good switch in against status users and be able to do some damage.
Here's the rest of the team so far

Tellah (Alakazam) (M) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dazzling Gleam
- Shadow Ball

Erza (Aegislash) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Atk / 116 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword

Edge (Greninja) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
- Power-Up Punch
- Rock Slide
- Shadow Sneak
- U-turn

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 152 Def / 104 SDef
Impish Nature
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Pursuit

Kokonoe (Espeon) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Also suggest a sixth Pokemon. I was thinking something like Skarmory or Mandibuzz.

Your Espeon is the same as mine, so I would probably do 252 Sp Attack and 4 HP/ Special Defense (probably HP).

The Mandibuzz I use is 252 HP/252 Defense/4 Attack, although you can put it in Special Defense. Moveset is the same. Overcoat instead of Big Pecks so I can fight things in the hail and the sand.

I'm pretty late with this but is there any particular reason why the Shuckle on the example post has more sp def than def? Both defences have 230 base so is it because special attackers are more common or what?
