Favorite Pokemon Generation

Mine would be 3rd Gen. Only because of dem Mudkipz.

I've got to say 3rd generation for the story and gameplay aspects of it (secret bases were the best things to ever happen to Pokemon, ever), and 5th generation for the competitive aspect.

In terms of story, 5th generation for finally pushing things in a direction I'm enjoying. In terms of sheer fun, secret bases- I mean, 3rd generation.

I'd say OG, but then I'd be lying and a nostalgia bum.

I thought third was kinda meh.
I'd say 2nd, only because it combined the first two gen's regions.

Yeah I also thought 2nd gen was pretty awesome.

2nd Gen was soooooooooo much fun. It's barely under 3rd Gen on my list.

Oh man 2nd Gen was a blast too. I suppose there's a reason we're all here making a Pokemon related forum.

1st generation, because I started on it, and anything new and different scares me.

I started with 1st gen too. But I strictly remember hating that I got pikachu for my 1st. Because I had yellow and everyone else had Red or Blue. Rage quit.

For me it goes 2>5>1=3>4
2G was great because it combined 1/2
5G has a good story and pretty cool pokemon designs
3G alright story meh Pokemon designs but brought cool concepts
1G old but gold
4G pretty bad everything the only thing good that came out of this was the new mechanics and HG/SS
