New Eevee evolution

What type you guys think it is? I'd like to hear your pivotal answer to the all-encompassing question that governs the world: Does it look cool?! Or does it look like crap?!

It looks pretty cool. I can't tell what type it's going to be though. My best guess is Normal based on its colors, but that wouldn't make much sense since Eevee is normal. My next guess would be Steel since Trash Forme Wormadam is also a weird pink color.
Hopefully it's not as useless as Flareon.

I'd say either Normal or Flying but the flying guess is a little farfetched... I'm guessing it because the ribbons could be like they're billowing in the wind? I've heard some people bullshitting that they hacked into the source code of the official site and that it's a brand new type called the light type which is to complete the type trinity of dragon and steel... My head hurts so much trying to comprehend how stupid that is and how many people are actually buying it.
Trollestia has an interesting point with it being steel. Looking into the name though it seems to suggest that it may be normal. "Nin" can sometimes mean person/humanity among other contexts or possibly be the closest to "Nymphia" so maybe it could be a bug type? A really weird looking bug type to be sure...

Looking at the new footage released, along with the English, German, and French names, this Eeveelution is obviously based off of nymphs and faeries. I'm going to guess Flying or Bug, but it's probably Flying since it uses Swift in the gameplay trailer.

Probably. Its english name reminds me of sylphs which are often associated with air.

And the French name is Nymphali.

UPDATE: DS seems to be working fine, however the Eevee is still dead. Pending further analysis.

Pokemon Smash! has been dropping hints on Sylveon's type. They had it chop an Ice block (Super effective on Ice) Get tackled by a "brawny" guy (weakness to fighting) and choke on noxious fumes (weak to poison or effected by it)

I'd say it's normal, because what are the chances of nintendo giving us something we want? Also so that you can use Eevee and keep it a normal type while letting it evolve.
