Because it costs money to run a real website, something none of us have.

It would probably cost 20 dollars a month if you went for the cheapest, minimum service you could get, and upwards to 100 dollars if you got a high-end deal.
We'd also have to learn coding. I'll be taking Java Script and HTML classes in college as an elective, but right now none of us have a lot of experience putting together a message board.
