New Pokemon and Mega Evolutions?

According to Serebii, there are three new Pokemon that are events that have yet to be released, and also new Mega Evolutions. A hacker got into the game and discovered them. Serebii itself hasn't done this yet though so they warn that this news is still unconfirmed.
The new Mega Evolution is Latios, so Latias will also probably get one.
Discuss how this is pretty cool if it's true.

The event legends... That would explain so much on what I've seen on the GTS. I've seen people on there of various countries asking for pokemon that I assumed were typos or something but the fact that the names translated over is a pretty good sign that they do exist. And wtf is with Latias and Latios? They look the exact same!

They look the same because only Latios has been hacked so far, so there are only pictures of Mega Latios.

Then why does one of the pictures have the name Latias on it?
