You should waste your Masterball on a wild Donphan like I did when I first played Silver waaay back when. You should use Delibird too.

So the battery which allows me to save in Silver has died. Which is odd considering it takes about 15 years for the battery to die and my 2 red versions and yellow still have their saves.

Gilgamesh has replaced her internal battery in one of her games. You should ask her if she can replace yours.

Well that sucks. There is a way to change the internal battery but on my second attempt on changing an internal battery nearly destroyed my Crystal version since my hand was too unsteady that time. If you have a soldering iron and a battery with clips/tabs already welded on it then you can try replacing it in a lesser risky way than I did by trying to pry off the welded tabs and replace the coin battery and taped it back with electrical tape. It got the job done but you need to be careful because if you tear that tab off the board or scratch the circuitry then you're fucked.
