Nintendo at E3

So, Nintendo has decided to hold their "E3 conference" as a Nintendo Direct rather than host a panel down at the expo like they normally would. They say that they're going to update what is revealed in the direct on their Facebook and Twitter so that people don't have to wait until it is over for news reveals. What do you guys think about Nintendo trying to be hipster and doing things their way for E3?

What's a "Nitendo Direct"?

You can look it up on Youtube; they have it on their channel there as well. They stream videos about upcoming games and releases every month or two. That's how they've been announcing most of their games recently.

Interesting... So what you're telling me is I won't have to go to IGN and Kotaku to get information on Nintendo's press conference?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure they'll put the whole thing up on YouTube as well once the conference is over. Sounds like they've dedicated a good portion to X and Y.

I'm super-stoked for X and Y. If I live in campus this fall, I won't need to buy a Printer/Scanner so I'll be able to afford a 3DS.
