NEW POKEMON ANNOUNCED! 5-11-13

The new Corocoro has been spoiled and we have 4 new Pokemon to gawk at. First is Yayakoma (Normal/Flying), the Robin Pokemon. "It announces itself in a beautiful voice". Then we have Elikteru (Electric/Normal), the Generation Pokemon which seems to look like a lizard. Yanchan (Fighting), the Naughty Pokemon, which is a Kung Fu Panda. And lastly, my favourite, Gogoat (Grass), the Riding Pokemon. You can actually ride him in game as a replacement for the bike. I absolutely love these Pokemon and think they're incredibly well designed. What do you guys think?

They all look pretty cool but Yanchan and Gogoat take the win.

Oh boy, an Electric/Normal type. Two weak types, now with twice the weaknesses!

The only thing better is Psychic/Grass!

I hope they make a Fire/Ice type so it will have 4x Rock weakness, Fighting weakness, Ground weakness, Water weakness, and only resists Bug, Grass, and Ice.

They might add new types to fuck with us in the end.

If they add new types, I hope they make Pokemon that are actual ??? type. Although they'd have to change Hidden Power mechanics if they did that.

Make sure to give that sucker a base 85 speed so it's slower than everything that matters.

Some more news related to X and Y: The gameplay footage shows that characters will have a 3D axis to walk on, not just the four directions in previous games. Character customization is also confirmed, although the extent is unknown. Character limits on names have gone up, to what we also don't know, but we do know that the previous limit (12) has been exceeded by whatever the fuck move the Electric type learns, as that move is 16 characters long.
